Start with the qualification, not the school’s postcode
Students in Oman may study Indian boards, A levels, IB or other qualifications. “Studied in Oman” does not tell a university which entry rules to use.
- For Germany, examine the exact final qualification and subject combination. A direct-entry route, a subject-restricted route and Studienkolleg are different outcomes; no single foundation-year rule covers every curriculum.
- For a master’s, the degree-awarding institution, subject content and credits matter. Where APS is relevant, check the qualification-specific scope and exceptions rather than inferring an exemption from an Oman address.
- Separate an English-taught programme from its English-language admission evidence. Check the particular course’s published requirements before booking a test.
