Medical admission can involve an eligibility test, a university entrance test and language evidence. They serve different purposes; one score does not automatically replace the others.

IMAT
Italy’s public English medical admission route follows its dated annual national and university calls. Private medical schools can use different tests.
Language and interview
Check accepted English proof, its validity and any waiver. Clinical work can require the local language even when the medical course is academically in English.
Booking and the university application are separate.
Before booking: identify the exact course and intake, confirm the test/version it accepts, create the official account using your ID name, choose an authorised sitting, pay the official provider and keep the confirmation. Follow the provider’s ID, accommodations, cancellation and score-release instructions. The country links below explain which selection route applies.
Italy
IMAT / public English medicine selection
The 2026 public specification is a useful preparation benchmark; 2027 rules and date remain pending in this research.
Cattolica medicine entrance test
A separate university test with a published 17 March 2027 date; follow the 2027 call.
HUMAT
Humanitas publishes its own admissions process. Do not use a previous test format as a confirmed 2027 specification.
Germany
Feststellungsprüfung after Studienkolleg
Relevant for applicants whose assessed school route requires preparatory study; not a guarantee of a medicine place.
TestAS / university aptitude tests
Selection is category-specific. Charité explicitly does not count TestAS for the described non-EU international quota.
German language evidence
Use the medical programme’s accepted certificate and score requirements; an English test does not replace them.
United Kingdom
UCAT
For participating schools; the verified 2026 testing window for the current application cycle is over.
Medical-school interview
A separate university selection stage; format and use vary by school.
English proficiency
Check the course’s accepted tests and minimum scores; an English-medium school does not guarantee exemption.
Ireland
Casper for the specified RCSI 2027 category
Required for privately funded non-EU school-leaver applicants in the cited route; 17 January 2027 with registration by 15 January.
HPAT / graduate-entry tests
Applicant categories differ. The cited RCSI non-EU school-leaver route does not use HPAT; GEM has its own requirements.
English proficiency
Use the programme’s accepted proof and component scores; eligibility does not guarantee admission.
Poland
PUMS entrance examination and interview
Official topics and sample-test route; science test followed by an interview.
Warsaw medicine admissions

Lithuania
LSMU Biology/Chemistry selection
Motivation interview plus 90-minute science examination; English assessment where required.
Vilnius Medicine assessment
University entrance examination with listed high external-score exemptions; confirm the actual 2027 call.
Malaysia
Monash Malaysia ISAT and MMI
Monash requires ISAT and interview selection; the page’s displayed 2025 calendar must not be treated as 2027.
Universiti Malaya medical selection
Use UM’s current MSAT, accepted-alternative and interview instructions for the actual intake.
IMU medical interview
Read the requirements for the wholly Malaysian MBBS separately from partner transfers.
Georgia
TSMU English admission evidence
The current FAQ asks for an international English certificate; confirm accepted exam and score for the actual intake.
TSU Medicine selection
Programme-specific English, school-subject and interview checks; do not generalise to all Georgia.
Georgian postgraduate and state certification
A later professional pathway, separate from university admission or NEET.
Russia
Kazan Federal University entrance assessments
2026/27 main-campus English route: Human Biology and English, minimum 40 each; onsite in the official plan.
Kazan State Medical University entrance assessments
2026 English route: Chemistry and English, minimum 65 each. This is not KFU.
Russian primary medical accreditation
Professional assessment after training; Russian is required, including for English academic routes.
United States
MCAT
Medical-school admissions test; accepted scores and latest dates are school-specific.
USMLE
A staged licensing-examination sequence, not the entrance test for a school-leaver bachelor’s degree.
Additional admissions assessments
Casper, PREview and other requirements depend on the selected medical school and application cycle.
Greece
University assessment and interview
Science grades and qualification route matter. Crete accepts several academic/standardised-test routes; a UCAT or MCAT route is not compulsory for every applicant.
Croatia
English medicine faculty selection
Zagreb and Split set their own admission processes; do not assume one national English-medicine test.
Cyprus
