Scope and current status
CEnT-S is used by some English-taught science, engineering and economics programmes. It is a different admission route from IMAT. The booking and fee information here was checked on 8 October 2026 and applies to the November 2025–October 2026 cycle.
The Milan example below is a historical 2026/27 call checked on 22 September. Later test availability does not reopen that university application.

Start with the course call
Before booking, write down four things: the accepted test and format; the permitted test dates; the university application deadline; and its score/ranking requirements. A university can host a test without still accepting applications to your course.
For example, Milan’s Economics: Behavior, Data and Policy call for 2026/27 accepted CEnT-S taken only between 1 November 2025 and 30 June 2026, with applications closing 6 July 2026. An available October test cannot satisfy that call. See the course call below.

Dated booking snapshot: 8 October 2026
The official available-dates calendar showed 15 October 2026 tests with bookings closing on 9 October 2026. At this check, all six displayed remote sessions were full and some in-person sessions had places. This is a dated snapshot, not live availability or a seat reservation.
Open the live calendar before making arrangements. Confirm the format, venue and closing time there and in your own booking. After 9 October, treat this snapshot as historical: it does not show a current opportunity to book. A scheduled test date and an available booking are different things.

Keep test booking and university applications separate
Keep both records: the CISIA test booking and the separate university application. Neither replaces the other.
- 1. Check your course call. Confirm accepted test dates and @HOME or @UNI format before choosing a session.
- 2. Register in the CISIA Student Area with your own details and email, then activate the account using the email link.
- 3. Choose the format, host and date. Supply the required identification and pay the official fee.
- 4. Check Manage Bookings for your Payment and Enrolment Receipt. Payment alone is not booking confirmation. For @HOME, finish the required photo and test-app setup.
- 5. Follow the appointment and equipment instructions. Complete your university’s application and any score-submission step within its own deadline.

Know what the result means
There are 55 questions in 110 minutes, divided into five timed sections. Mathematics and reasoning each have 15 questions/30 minutes; biology and chemistry each have 10/20; physics has five/10. You cannot return to a completed section or carry its unused time forward.
Raw scoring gives +1 for a correct answer, −0.25 for an incorrect answer and zero for a blank. The official final score is normalised after the macro-period, so a practice raw percentage is not a predicted official result. CISIA format and scoring.
The official fee is €55 for tests in November 2025–October 2026. Only one attempt is allowed per macro-period: 17 September and 15 October belong to the same period, with normalised scores scheduled by 30 October 2026. The next cycle’s fee and dates are not confirmed in this guide.
