A SMALL STEP TOWARDS A BETTER DECISION

Read your offer before you accept

Check conditions, payment dates and practical commitments in one focused review.

Open the offer and the documents it refers to. Your goal is to understand the exact programme, what remains conditional and what accepting commits you to. This checklist helps you read the documents; it does not replace their terms.

01

Confirm what is being offered

Check the programme title, campus, intake, level, duration and study mode. Read every outstanding condition, the evidence needed to satisfy it and its deadline. Ask the admissions office about any mismatch before accepting.

02

Understand the money

Identify the fee category, tuition period, required deposit and payment date. Find the written cancellation, withdrawal, deferral and refund rules, including the process if a visa is refused. Record what must be paid before any scholarship or loan arrives.

03

Check what remains separate

Funding, accommodation, visa sponsorship, the visa decision and enrolment can involve separate processes. Record which ones are confirmed, which need another application and which are still pending. Do not interpret an academic offer as a guaranteed visa or housing place.

04

Resolve the final questions

Send one concise message to the appropriate university office containing your unresolved questions. Save the response with the offer. Add the acceptance and payment deadlines to your plan, and keep proof of anything you submit or pay.

Where this comes from

Original Via Glowbal student guidance, adapted from the 2027 directory, issued 1 October 2026. Read PDF pages 17, 20 and 23. The checklist supports research; your actual programme call, offer and official procedures determine the requirements.
