A SMALL STEP TOWARDS A BETTER DECISION

Build a shortlist you can explain

Compare the course, entry route and full commitment before comparing university names.

Start with two or three real programmes. A useful shortlist records why each option fits you and what remains uncertain. Keep the official course page beside each option; a university name or subject family alone is not enough.

01

Match the actual programme

Record the degree title, campus, study mode, intake and duration. Include a foundation or preparatory year if it is part of your route. Two courses with similar names can have very different modules and practical work.

02

Separate language from eligibility

Find evidence for the language of the whole programme, including placements or clinical work. Then compare accepted qualifications, prerequisite subjects, grades and language certificates. Being eligible to apply is not the same as receiving an offer.

03

Compare the same cost period

Compare annual tuition with annual tuition, then account for the full duration. Record the fee category that applies to you, living months, compulsory charges and preparation costs. Treat an unawarded scholarship as a possibility rather than available money.

04

Choose the next action

Give each option one strongest reason to choose it and one unresolved question. A missing language statement needs confirmation; a missing fee is an unknown, not zero. Decide what evidence would change your choice before paying an application fee.

Where this comes from

Original Via Glowbal student guidance, adapted from the 2027 directory, issued 1 October 2026. Read PDF pages 17 and 26. The checklist supports research; your actual programme call, offer and official procedures determine the requirements.
