Build a brief worth quoting
Start with the whole-trip budget, not just a hotel or airfare. Share your date flexibility and what makes the trip worthwhile for you.
- Destination, number of travellers and children’s ages where relevant.
- Preferred pace, accessibility needs and room arrangements.
- Activities you care about, free time and acceptable travel between stops.
- Departure city, approximate dates and flexibility.
Compare written inclusions
Ask for the exact accommodation, room type, transport arrangements and activities. An attractive destination photograph is not a list of inclusions.
- Separate flights, baggage, rooms, meals, transfers, guides, admission tickets and optional extras.
- Check mandatory taxes, deposits, currency and any payment deadlines.
- Identify who supplies each part and who handles changes or a missed connection.
- Review cancellation, substitution, minimum-participant and refund conditions where applicable.
Make the final check
Confirm traveller details, visa requirements and the final itinerary before payment. A quote is not confirmation that every component has been booked.
- Check whether offers expire and which parts are refundable.
- Obtain the supplier confirmations for the components you buy.
- Keep useful contacts and a copy of the agreed terms accessible during travel.
Common questions
Can you plan a family trip or a visit around university?
You can request either. Share the fixed dates and locations first so the proposed scope can fit the whole journey.
Does a quote reserve the trip?
Not unless the written quote expressly states a confirmed hold and its expiry. Availability and price must be reconfirmed before purchase.
