Academic and language preparation

Typical A-level offer AAA including Maths, or AAB including Maths and Computer Science. IB 37 with 6,6,6 at Higher Level including Maths, or 35 with 6,6,5 including Maths and Computer Science. GCSE English 4/C or equivalent; standard IELTS 6.5 overall, each component 6.0. Check country equivalence.

Application route and preparation

Apply through UCAS, institution L79 (LBRO): G400 for the three-year BSc or G401 with placement. Include qualifications, the UCAS personal statement and a reference. Selection usually uses the application; an interview may exceptionally be required.

Tuition and funding context

International tuition for 2027/28: GBP 31,500 per academic year. The optional placement year costs approximately 20% of the full-time fee. Fees are reviewed annually and may increase; living costs and course extras are additional.

Application / processing charges

UCAS 2027 entry application fee: GBP 34.50 for up to five choices; eligibility-based fee waivers exist.
