Print / save PDF ↗ Country guides Universities & fees Compare courses Entrance tests Returning to India Before you apply 1. Establish the right route 2. Apply and complete selection Record each separate deadline University application, test registration, score submission, scholarship, offer acceptance and visa/residence are separate milestones. Collect the actual document list Passport, transcripts, school-leaving certificate, translations, language evidence, recommendation or motivation documents as required by the exact faculty. Use the official test account The name must match your identification. Keep the booking confirmation, approved test format, score-release instructions and test-day rules. Confirm the correct application category Do not use an EU fee, local Malaysian fee or graduate-entry call simply because it appears first on a university website. 3. Before paying a deposit Obtain the complete written fee schedule Year one, later clinical years, taxes, deposits, application charges, insurance and refund conditions. Read what happens after a visa refusal. Map all training locations List each institution, country, hospital and elective. For an India-return plan, assess the single-country/institution conditions before agreeing to cross-border rotations. Get the internship and local-registration answer in writing Ask about exact dates, duration, access for your nationality, language tests, supervision, certificate and eligibility to register on the required terms. A clinical year is not automatically a qualifying internship. Budget through graduation and licensing Include living costs, travel, inflation, exchange-rate movement, clinical-year charges and any post-degree internship or examinations. Keep a contingency and do not assume scholarships. 4. Visa, arrival and evidence Use the mission serving your lawful residence India and Oman can have different appointment providers and document rules. Use the destination’s official student-visa or residence-permit instructions. Prepare the financial and residence evidence Sponsor relationship, bank evidence, tuition receipts, accommodation, insurance and any required health/police records. A visa maintenance figure is not the full cost of studying. Retain the official course and fee documents Save dated offers, syllabi, clinical calendars, payment receipts, language evidence and regulator replies in your own secure records. Track changes throughout the degree Before placements and graduation, recheck the licensing rules that apply to your cohort. Keep dated attendance, clinical logs, internship records and registration certificates. A clear question to send to the university. I am an Indian citizen / OCI applicant considering your medical programme for [intake]. Please confirm the awarding institution, teaching language, all clinical locations, and the exact post-course internship available to a student of my nationality. Please also identify the local medical regulator and the conditions under which I can obtain registration, including language and examination requirements. I need the full dated curriculum, internship schedule and fee/refund terms before accepting an offer. Replace the applicant category and intake with your own details. For regulatory interpretation, seek the relevant medical council’s written guidance as well as the university’s answer.
