Which CIMEA service and fee apply?

First confirm which document the receiving university requires. Then use the DiploMe service finder with the qualification’s education system and level. You do not freely choose the cheapest of the three services.

Prices checked on 8 October 2026 are unchanged from our earlier review. Confirm the service and final amount in your own application before payment.

  • €300 including VAT: Comparability plus Verification, per qualification.
  • €150 including VAT: Verification for qualifications using the ARDI route. The ARDI correspondence statement itself can be downloaded without charge where available.
  • €150 including VAT: Comparability only for the limited systems where verification is impracticable. This does not include a Verification statement.

Select the awarding system, not simply where you live

The service finder uses the education system that issued the qualification. For example, CIMEA tells holders of UK-board qualifications studied outside the UK to select United Kingdom. It provides separate International Baccalaureate and European Baccalaureate choices. Residence in India or Oman alone does not identify the service.

Check the exact qualification and level before collecting documents or paying. CIMEA’s opinions support assessment; they do not guarantee university admission or formal recognition.

Urgent does not mean the whole file finishes in 30 days

Ordinary processing is 60 working days, counted after both payment and delivery of all required documents. This is not 60 calendar days from creating an account. Missing-document waits do not count toward that period.

The €100 urgency supplement reduces Comparability processing to 30 working days. It does not speed up Verification; there is no urgent Verification service, and responses from other institutions can delay or prevent completion. Choose urgency during the original application if it is available: it cannot be added afterwards.

Submit through your own account

The qualification holder must submit and manage the request directly in their own DiploMe account. CIMEA does not process applications through intermediaries. Use the official registration or login link; statements are delivered digitally in that account.

A counsellor can help you understand the checklist and organise documents. Keep your own password, declarations, payment and messages under your control. Nobody can guarantee a positive statement.

Follow the current country-specific document navigator

Open Required Documents and select the awarding system and qualification level. Check whether CIMEA needs direct issuer delivery, a sealed envelope, electronic verification, translations or supplementary records. Do not courier originals merely because another applicant did.

Upload complete, legible colour scans. A self-uploaded scan, a notarised copy and a document sent by the issuing institution are different forms of evidence. CIMEA can request more information after examining the file. Its processing clock does not include time spent waiting for missing documents.

For an Indian qualification, download or save the actual current checklist selected in the portal. Older country PDFs and social-media lists can help identify questions, but should not override that checklist.
