Follow these steps with the official provider. Keep your application number, confirmation and receipt together.
Confirm Academic or General Training, the required overall and skill scores, and any separate UKVI, Online or One Skill Retake acceptance conditions.
Open the official local booking route: IDP in India or British Council in Oman. Select an offered delivery mode, city, date and time; India’s ordinary paper test has been discontinued.
Enter details matching your valid ID. India’s booking guidance requires a passport upload; British Council Oman accepts a passport or specified Omani ID. Bring the same original on test day.
Check both the Listening/Reading/Writing appointment and the Speaking arrangements; these may be scheduled separately.
Contact the provider before paying if you need access arrangements, and check any age or guardian-consent requirements.
Review the local total and cancellation/transfer conditions, then pay through the official portal using an offered method.
Save the receipt and confirmation. Check the provider dashboard or emails for the final venue, reporting time and admission instructions.
Confirm the exam version, delivery mode, required scores and score deadline for your programme. Admission and visa English requirements can differ.
Match your booking to the provider’s accepted ID. Check document validity, spelling and any country-specific rules before confirming.
Review the checkout currency, taxes, optional extras and change or cancellation terms. A price for India is not an Oman price.
Published dates describe a calendar, not available seats. The provider’s confirmation establishes your booking. An unannounced 2027 date or fee should stay out of your confirmed plan.
