How to register for GMAT

Support an application to a business or management programme that accepts GMAT.

Registration guidance checked 2026-09-29. Fees, identity rules and appointment availability can change.

01 / PLAN YOUR DATE

When can I take it?

GMAT uses rolling appointment booking, not a fixed worldwide 2027 test calendar. Dates and delivery options depend on availability; no particular India or Oman seat was checked.

Registration fees

Current GMAT listed prices: India USD275 at a centre or USD300 online; Oman USD250 at a centre or USD275 online. Location and delivery mode determine the fee; these are not all-in INR or OMR quotes.

Local taxes and payment conversion may affect the total. Extra score reports cost USD35; changes/refunds depend on notice, with no rescheduling or cancellation within 24 hours. YOUR REGISTRATION PATH

From choosing the test to test day

Follow these steps with the official provider. Keep your application number, confirmation and receipt together.

  1. Check each business school’s accepted tests, application round and score-receipt deadline.

  2. Create or use your mba.com account, then choose exam registration under My Account and complete your profile.

  3. Check valid original ID against your name, birth date and citizenship. Arrange accommodations before booking; applicants aged 13–17 need the centre route and advance parent/guardian permission.

  4. Choose a centre or eligible online appointment and confirm its location, date, time and timezone. Check online system and room requirements before purchase.

  5. Read the country-and-delivery price, taxes and change rules. Pay with an accepted method and keep your final confirmation.

  6. Plan at least 20 days before the school deadline. Official scores usually arrive in 3–5 days but can take 20 days.

  7. For a retake, allow at least 16 days and observe the combined centre/online limit of five attempts in rolling 12 months.

A final check before paying

The right requirement

Confirm the exam version, delivery mode, required scores and score deadline for your programme. Admission and visa English requirements can differ.

The right identity

Match your booking to the provider’s accepted ID. Check document validity, spelling and any country-specific rules before confirming.

The complete amount

Review the checkout currency, taxes, optional extras and change or cancellation terms. A price for India is not an Oman price.

Published dates describe a calendar, not available seats. The provider’s confirmation establishes your booking. An unannounced 2027 date or fee should stay out of your confirmed plan.
