Official teaching location ↗Official teaching-language information ↗Academic and language preparation
Relevant bachelor's of at least six semesters in social sciences, politics, economics, law or a related field; German-equivalent grade 2.5 or better; suitable subject knowledge; at least one year of combined relevant voluntary/work experience; English C1; statement of purpose up to three pages.
Official entry requirements ↗Application route and preparation
A degree earned outside Germany requires a paid uni-assist application. The published recurring winter-intake window is 1 December–15 July; the 2026 deadline has passed. A separately dated winter 2027/28 call was not verified. German-degree applicants use the university portal under a different window.
A published programme does not mean every intake is open. Confirm the academic year, applicant category, required documents and submission deadline on the official application page.
Tuition and funding context
The programme confirms no tuition. The central semester-contribution page currently lists €409.27 for regular degree students, including student services, administration and Deutschlandsemesterticket. This is the contribution observed on 2 October 2026, not a confirmed 2027 amount; older programme FAQ estimates are superseded.
