Application route and preparation

Self-financed applicants use the university's international online portal. The programme prospectively expects the next self-financed window in March 2027 for October 2027 entry; exact opening/closing dates are not yet confirmed. The 2027/28 Helmut-Schmidt scholarship window has closed.

A published programme does not mean every intake is open. Confirm the academic year, applicant category, required documents and submission deadline on the official application page.

Tuition and funding context

Programme guidance confirms no tuition or application fee. The university's winter 2026/27 guidance estimates the separate semester contribution at €367.80; this includes the public-transport ticket. Older programme fee figures should not be used as current quotes.
