- 2026 entrant fee regulations permit approved 5% annual increases. Occupational-health charge EUR 200 in year one; confirm whether included in the quoted levy.
- At the current annual rate, tuition would total €275,000 over five years or €330,000 over six, before approved annual increases and other charges.
Do not use a single annual reference as a guaranteed whole-degree price. A final budget also needs the exact clinical-year schedule, taxes, mandatory charges, accommodation, insurance, travel and any separate internship or licensing costs.

- English academic route
- Patient communication
- English in the clinical setting; communication, occupational-health and professional requirements still apply.
- Country qualification route
- Primary medical qualification such as MB BCh BAO from the named Irish programme; graduate-entry medicine is a distinct admissions route. · Read the full country guide
An Irish degree does not guarantee an internship or complete the Indian return pathway. Four-year graduate-entry medicine needs particular review against the applicable medical-course duration rule; prior non-medical study cannot simply be added.

Living and other costs.
€1,500–€2,200 per month is the country-guide planning reference.
≈ US$1,681–US$2,465Same period and fee conditions · reference rates 9–10 Oct 2026Dublin Via Glowbal planning range, not an official fixed quote; Galway requires a separate accommodation quote.. This is not a university accommodation quote or visa minimum; adjust it for Galway.
Keep refundable deposits separate from fees you cannot recover. An offer, scholarship application or visa application does not guarantee its outcome.
Entrance tests and selection.
Galway’s medicine course offers five- or six-year study depending on the applicant’s educational background. Use the university’s international undergraduate medicine instructions for your qualification and fee category rather than a graduate-entry or EU-only application route.
The current tuition reference is 2026/27; neither that fee nor another Irish university’s Casper timetable establishes Galway’s 2027 selection requirements.
Official course application instructions ↗
The country guide covers several admission routes, which can use different tests. Use the exact university and intake’s call to identify your own test. NEET eligibility for Indian citizens/OCI applicants is separate from this university’s admission test.
