International admission still has academic checks
Eligible international applicants can follow a route outside Georgia’s unified national examinations, but the university still checks school credentials and English. Indian applicants need a separate India-related eligibility review.
TSMU’s current FAQ requires an international English certificate at B1 or above; an English-medium school letter is not an automatic waiver. TSU describes B2 proof and an interview. European University and Geomedi use their own English-selection rules.

2027 dates and the offer contract
TSMU describes recurring September/October and March starts. No exact 2027 deadline is verified here, and other universities run different calls. An older admissions page is not a 2027 announcement.
Before payment, obtain the start date, last arrival date, language of academic teaching, awarding institution and tuition/refund schedule in writing.

Keep standard and premium curricula separate
The table uses current published prices retained from the supplied official research; most pages do not label an academic year. Future increases, charges outside tuition and postgraduate licensing costs are excluded.

Patient contact and Georgian language
The education quality authority describes substantial clinical training in the final years and Georgian-language preparation for international students. Clinical procedures are within a supervised curriculum and require patient consent.
Hospital ownership or an accreditation statement does not establish how much supervised patient work a particular student completes. Request the English cohort’s rotation plan and logbook requirements.

What a sixth-year internatura does and does not prove
Georgian education and embassy sources describe the final year as clinical internship. For India return, obtain exact start/end dates, hours, rotations, training status and the certificate. Credits or the word internatura alone cannot settle India’s requirements.
Permission for additional clinical work or a student registration record is not the same as the professional registration or licensing status required by the intended country of practice.

Junior doctor versus independently licensed physician
Georgia’s Medical Practice Law distinguishes a junior doctor working under an independent practitioner’s responsibility from a state-certified independent doctor. Article 10 requires Georgian for independent practice, subject to limited exceptions for visiting foreign specialists.
The ordinary professional pathway involves postgraduate qualification assessment and approved postgraduate training, then state certification. The law distinguishes residency from training alternative to residency; foreign applicants must establish which route and funding they can access.

D3 study visa and residence from India or Oman
India has a dedicated Georgia study visa D3 checklist through VFS. Use it with the Georgian mission’s current instructions to prepare enrolment, financial, accommodation and insurance evidence.
An Indian passport holder living in Oman must confirm the mission responsible for lawful residence. A residence card or visitor entry should not be assumed to complete the long-term student route. The Public Service Development Agency provides study-residence instructions.

Budget beyond the first six years
TSMU’s published rent and food/personal spending components give a planning range of USD 450–850 monthly. Add deposits, translations, recognition, insurance, visa/residence and travel.
Allow for additional Georgian-language and postgraduate licensing time if required by your professional pathway. The degree does not automatically grant work permission; foreign-employment rules and immigration status need separate review.
