Living costs: city and housing matter
Masaryk’s Brno examples are about €200/month for a shared dormitory room, €8/day for three refectory meals and €26 for a three-month public-transport ticket. These components omit insurance, books, trips, deposits and other personal spending.
Plan twelve months even if tuition is quoted by academic year. Obtain an actual housing offer before using a dormitory example in your family budget; private rooms and Prague can cost differently.

School recognition is part of enrolment
Prepare the final school-leaving certificate and marks, the required authentication and translations. The faculty must accept the qualification for enrolment even when you have already passed its entrance examination.
Charles First Faculty’s 2027 admissions record requires the completed secondary-education evidence by 31 August 2027. Keep the faculty recognition route distinct from the consulate’s requirements for visa documents.

From India: a long-term study application
The Czech Embassy in New Delhi requires personal submission after an appointment. Its study route is separate from short-stay Schengen tourism; do not book a tourist service as a substitute.
The official page links application forms and the current study appointment instructions. Prepare the passport, admission/purpose evidence, accommodation, funds and required criminal-record documents, with certified Czech translations. The stated study-processing period starts after filing, so appointment availability must also fit your plan.

From Oman: residence history can determine where you apply
The Czech Embassy in Riyadh’s study guidance covers residents of Oman, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. It requires at least two years of lawful continuous residence for residents using that route and personal submission in Riyadh. Confirm that you qualify before paying travel costs.
The official study checklist and application form are linked below. The page covers admission, accommodation, accessible funds, relevant criminal records, translations and insurance after approval. A new Oman residence card by itself does not establish two years of qualifying residence.

English teaching, Czech patients
Czech language learning should be in your weekly study plan from the start. Patients, records and clinical teams are not an English-only environment. Ask each faculty how it assesses communication before patient-facing placements and how that affects progression.
Keep logbooks showing dates, departments, supervision and completed placements. A final clinical year and a separate internship should be described accurately rather than combined under a vague “practical training” label.
