For Indian citizens and OCI applicants, NEET eligibility is a separate India-return planning requirement; it does not automatically replace the destination university’s selection.

The programmes combine biomedical study, clinical teaching and final supervised hospital work. Varna describes ten semesters followed by state clinical internship and final practical and theoretical assessments. The resulting academic qualification is distinct from immigration permission to work.

Sofia’s current international page requires English, Biology and Chemistry examinations. Failing one component fails the examination. Its science and English selection is separate from NEET. The page also retains historical material, so use the explicitly labelled academic-year section.
Varna and Pleven run their own science/English admission routes. Do not assume a CBSE English-medium letter replaces a specified language certificate at every university.

Pleven’s published February 2027 application period ran from 1 June to 1 October 2026. On the 8 October review date that deadline has passed; only a written university extension would reopen it. No verified autumn 2027 dates are available in this guide.
Sofia’s 2026/27 non-EU window was 27 July–31 August 2026, with its examination on 9 September and teaching starting 19 October. Those dates explain the usual sequence; they are not a 2027 call.

The table retains the 2026/27 fee year. Do not multiply one annual price into a guaranteed six-year contract. Budget translations, recognition, visa/residence, insurance, deposits and clinical equipment outside tuition.

Sofia requires a recognised secondary qualification and evidence that it permits higher education in the issuing education system, with official Bulgarian translation. A CBSE certificate obtained at an Oman school needs the correct issuing-authority authentication route; a local school stamp alone should not be assumed sufficient.
Sofia states it is not making recruitment contracts with private companies or individuals for 2026/27. Advice or application assistance must not be described as an official university partnership.
For long-term study, follow the Type D and residence sequence described in official Bulgarian guidance. An admission decision, funds, accommodation and insurance support the application; the competent mission determines the final checklist and filing location.

Varna requires Bulgarian during the first three years because students communicate with patients from year three. English lectures do not make every clinical conversation English. Ask how language competence is assessed before patient-facing placements and what supervision the English cohort receives.

Varna describes its state internship as 310 calendar days. This is a concrete reason to obtain the full calendar and certification before relying on the course for India return. Pleven’s description of a final state-internship year likewise needs actual dates, rotations and the status under which the student trains.
An ECTS total or a marketing phrase cannot establish compliance with another country’s internship rules. Keep placement site, dates, hours, attendance and supervisor details.

Do not present the diploma alone as an unrestricted medical licence for a non-EU graduate. Establish the applicable Bulgarian professional registration, language and immigration/work conditions with the responsible authorities. A programme’s educational qualification is only one part of that route.
Specialist training is a separate application and usually requires clinical Bulgarian. Varna’s postgraduate information is useful for understanding that next step; its undated example fees should not be sold as a 2027 quotation.

Varna’s published €450–650 monthly estimate and Pleven’s €500 minimum planning advice are starting points. Compare a real room quotation, utilities, hospital transport and the up-front deposit before accepting an offer.
For an Indian applicant, the unresolved decision is the internship and local-registration route, not simply whether the university accepts the school marks.
