BUILD UNDERSTANDING

One lesson at a time.

Read an explanation, follow a worked example and check your understanding before choosing a practice set.

  1. Lesson 1 · About 4 minutes

Choose the correct base and rate

Practise margins, mixtures and joint work.

    →
  2. Lesson 2 · About 4 minutes

Ask whether the data is enough

    Compare sufficiency and interpret tables.

    →
  3. Lesson 3 · About 4 minutes

    Find the argument’s dependency

Evaluate causal claims and necessary assumptions.

    →
  4. Lesson 4 · About 8 minutes

Build the model before doing the arithmetic

Model percentages, rates and group totals, then use basic integer properties to calculate without a calculator.

    →
  5. Lesson 5 · About 7 minutes

Use every condition and test the answer

Handle strict inequalities, integer restrictions, signs, counting and algebraic identities without losing a condition.
